Mijn dromen en ambities
I am currently seeking employment in a position related to network engineering, systems engineering, network security or embedded software engineering in the Netherlands.I have recently attended a Cisco Networking Academy Program (280-hour course, CCNA Exploration) and I am now a Cisco Certified Network Associate.
During my studies on the program I became really interested in telecommunications and computer networks and I’d really love to develop my skills and gain more knowledge and working experience on the subject.
I recently attended another Cisco Networking Academy Program (72-hour course, CCNA Security) which was completed by the end of January 2014. I have also started taking Dutch lessons and I have already reached A2 level of proficiency, with an intension to continue to the next level.
As a fresh graduate in electrical and computer engineering (5-year course, degree equivalent to Master’s, electronics and computers major) I don’t have much working experience on network engineering except the hands-on lab experience (140 hours of routing & switching labs and another 36 hours of security labs, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco equipment) that the Cisco programs had to offer.
I also don’t have much working experience on software engineering except my thesis. In the context of this thesis I developed an application that is capable of checking the wear of vehicle suspensions and informing the driver of their status. I simulated the signals that four specifically built sensors (fit into the suspension system) sent, which after proper preprocessing and separation, gave me the information I needed about the state of the suspensions. This application was developed in Keil’s μVision, in C programming language, for the STM32F103RB microcontroller by ST Microelectronics.
